History of Cerritos FMLA

Cerritos College is one of the oldest FMLA chapters. Our FMLA started in 1999 with the help of some very intelligent, motivated, and brilliant women. Without these people, Cerritos College FMLA would not be the successful club that it is today.

Tiffany Garcia: 02-03 Vice President of Cerritos, 02-03 Vice President of FMLA
 
Jessica Roberts:  02-03 Feminist Majority Foundation's West Coast Campus Organizer, now attends Yale's school of Law
 
Michelle Woods:  02-03 Feminist Majority Foundation's Organizing Director, now attends Univeristy of Southern California.

Nassrin Bonyaldoo:  01-02 President of Cerritos College, 02-03 President of FMLA, now has an internship with the foundation
 
Sara Mayorga:  01-02 Vice President of Cerritos, 02-03 President of Cerritos
 
Karen Pinaud:  00-01 President of FMLA, now works with the Breast Cancer Association and is a part of the Women's History Month Committee
 
Lauren Fernandez:  02-03 Vice President of FMLA, now works as a court reporter
 
Debbie Castro:  03-04 Feminist Majority Foundation's Organizing Director, works in Washington D.C
 
Nisha Gulati: 03-04 Feminist Majority Foundation Campus Organizer, graduated from M.I.T, focuses on Cerritos College.
 
Eleanor Smeal: President of the Feminist Majority Foundation and sole inspiration to many feminists!
